The dining room table has been pulled out for maximum seating. Susie (my small portable sewing machine) sits discretely on the floor in the corner. Not that she has been bad. No, she just might be called into service at any moment. There are still a whole 2 full days left before Christmas Eve…
But, I just cleaned up! You know how that goes. The table- cluttered with things half made; the bedroom floor- a cutting table with scraps surrounding it; the living room floor- a design wall you gingerly maneuver around. And the fabric. It just happily migrates from room to room. This time I really must keep to my resolve. Susie needs a few days off. And my family needs a clean house.
The tree for the bathroom did get done. Almost. I still need to decide what to put at the top. There should have been a pair – 1 large, 1 small. But one wrong cut meant I only had 5 sides instead of 6. The pattern is from wingspancrafts.com .
This will be a very short post. Next week I will do a special post on the Traveler’s Hand Stitching Book, including pictures and a supply list for those that want to follow the January quilt-along.
Remember to send miles and pictures of your postcards so that you can be included in the Christmas contest. I will be excited to add up the miles for December. How close did we get to 1 million?
I wish for you the merriest of Christmas. May you be surrounded with warmth, love and happiness. God Bless.
